The current study aims to consider the important thoughts about regionalism in architecture, its categories, in general, and “regionalism now”, in particular, from Tzonis and Lefaivre’s perspectives. We have been motivated by the last chapter of their book, Architecture of Regionalism in the Age Globalization: Peaks and Valleys in the Flat World, in the conceptual shift to an identical and cultural landscape, in addition to economical and specially, ecological aspects over the past two decades. Thus, it presents a re-reading of regionalism from a wider inclusive framework. This paper argues that critical regionalist architecture has entered a new stage in its evolutionary process. In this context, the main goal of this paper is to develop a set of criteria that will act as a tool for identifying “Regionalism Now”. Methodologically, based on qualitative content analysis and inductive logic, these criteria can be classified to achieve a comprehensive model. The new trends in critical regionalism move toward the concept of sustainable development. Sustainability which has been raised in the last decades of twentieth century has been coincided with “regionalism”. This concept addresses the negative environmental and social impacts of structure by utilizing design methods, materials, energy and development spaces that are not detrimental to the region ecosystem or communities. The philosophy is to ensure that the actions taken today do not have negative consequences for future generations and comply with the principles of social, economic and ecological sustainability of architectural practice.

Urbanization growth in recent decades has led to widespread health, social and economic inequalities among residents of many cities. Among its most important consequences is inactivity of citizens around the world as well as Iran. Physical inactivity, as one of the most important issues of public health, is related to the social environment and citizens' daily lifestyle and activities. Among the criteria that should be taken into consideration in today's urban life are social criteria. For this purpose, the indicators obtained from the author's studies were measured within the framework of the study. Accordingly, the purpose of the present study is to explain the social criteria for measuring the quality of urban living environment with an emphasis on opportunities for physical activity, and to investigate the relationship between social criteria and physical activity of citizens in the study area (Hijab neighborhood of Mashhad). The present study is a descriptive-analytical one. Therefore, the theoretical basis was collected using library studies and then a questionnaire was used to check the tools obtained in the hijab neighborhood and the data was later analyzed by SPSS software. This was statistical analysis. The results show that: First, the indicators of social benchmarking in the urban environment fall into two main categories: social security and social interactions, between the two of which there was a significant correlation.

Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodegenerative disorder that usually manifests itself in the early years of life and lasts throughout life. Its main features are continuous problems in establishing social interactions, verbal and non-verbal communication abnormalities, and stereotypical patterns of behavior and interest. When discussing the design of space for children in the autism spectrum, it is important to pay attention to the knowledge and understanding of how to experience the environment and objects. Describing the sensory differences of perception, processing, and response are important because children are able to learn in the mainstream of the environment. Particular attention to physical spaces is important in designing the healthcare facilities of patients with autism, because it is directly related to the learning and development of these children. Space architecture, with awareness of environmental psychology, creates an atmosphere in which the child, with regard to ethical and behavioral characteristics, as well as communication weaknesses, can undergo stress-free and stress-free rotation. The key question in this article is how can environmental stressors be reduced to a child with autism? Findings suggest that a range of constructive elements such as the color and light in space can have a significant effect on the elimination of any stimulus and stress. Therefore, the present study uses a descriptive-analytic research method to investigate the architectural features of the health-care spaces of patients with autism with the psychology of the environment. architectural features play an important role in the treatment process and enhance the focus of autistic children.

The present research investigates the resilience and its theories from the perspective of urban design and urban planning. Resonance is not only an increase in the power of tolerance and adaptability of an individual in dealing with the problem, but also what is being discussed in the planning of the world. It is of great importance because it can easily affect the life and durability of a city. Resonance is that the cities gain more capability in such a way that they can respond in the shortest time to the crises and show the best response. The data collection tool in the research is the study of documents and literature texts and valid papers in the field of resilience, and the method of analysis is based on content analysis and comparative studies. The research findings show that the theory of resilience and the spatial theory are is content-based, explanatory, normative, structural and functional. Also, social resilience theory is a prescriptive, procedural, normative theory, based on multilevel, democratic and social programming. The approach is to resonate the place where the urban design has a social problem that is characterized by urban planning Sue is coming.

The urban population is increasing daily, and meeting the nutritional needs of this population is one of the serious problems for municipal planners and managers for now and then. In this regard, many people consider the urban agriculture as a reliable and sustainable way of responding to the growing needs of cities. Therefore, various studies have been carried out to explore different aspects of urban agriculture. Each of these studies has looked at this category from a specific and restricted angle and ignored many important issues. Thus, in order to clarify the different dimensions and challenges of urban agriculture in this research, after analyzing them, 34 articles have been selected from amongst various articles, extracted based on the Meta-synthesis method, and formed a comprehensive model for challenges and dimensions of urban agriculture. After that, with a review of the statistics in the encoded tables, it was revealed that the dimensions of "supportive and facilitating policies" in the category of attitudes and policies, as well as the "food security" in the social category, had the highest number of references in these articles. Plans and studies in this area are still novice and the qualitative issues and deep concepts such as the role of urban agriculture in social interactions and spatial attractiveness have been overlooked. Separating this area from the urban green space could be one of the main reasons of this problem. A serious method should be designed in order to solve this problem and perform as an integrated plan with regards to urban green spaces.

The study of Iranian gardens and the features of its elements make it possible to identify the symbolism of nature. In fact, we can understand the hidden concepts in the gardens by examining its semantic features and signs. The obligation of an architect in Islamic architecture is transmitting the semantic message to the audience. That is why signs and its features in art and architecture are concerned important. In this research, it was tried to identify the semantic components of the signs used in the Iranian gardens of Shiraz. According to the literature review of this research, index and iconic signs are based on qualitative analysis of the elements that are present in these gardens through observations. While in order to reach symbolic signs that is influenced by socio-cultural norms, Space Syntax method has been used. The comparison of the social logic in the case gardens shows that these gardens are similar to each other in terms of social structure which is derived from customs and beliefs of that society. By comparing the elements in the gardens, it can be concluded that some of the elements are used more often than others to express the concepts as signs. Accordingly, the repetition of the signs and the emphasis on their frequent use makes it possible for the audience to have a better comprehension from the signs and concepts of the gardens as a semantic aspect of universe. This research contributes architects to revive lost identity of the built environment in the developing countries.
